Christian magazine Sojourners publishes a full page ad aimed at highlighting the plight of homeless LGBT youth. It’s a step in the right direction.

William Campbell and John Hilton met in the 1950’s and have been together for 7 decades. Part of the devotion project.
In support of marriage equality, Ben & Jerry have teamed up with Stonewall to create Apple-y Ever After. On their website they state that “Social justice is at the core of our values. Since our humble beginning 34 years ago, Ben & Jerry’s has been an advocate for equal rights.”

This Is All Kinds Of Wrong of the Day: Earlier this month, a North Carolina pastor suggested rounding up gays and lesbians and starving them to death.
Just yesterday, an audio file of a Kansas pastor saying the government should kill gays made the rounds.
Now, we are confronted with perhaps the most egregious homophobic offense in recent weeks — a youngster at Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Greensburg, Indiana,belted out “Ain’t No Homos Gonna Make It To Heaven,” and the congregation rewarded him with a standing ovation.
This is… kinda terrifying to watch.

Question or not, I'd like to share. The other day I was picking out a dress for my eighth grade prom. Across the rack from me stands a girl and her mother. The mother holds up a dress, and the girl lets out a loud, repulsed, "That dress is so gay!" The mother says nothing. I decide to walk up to her, dress held up to show, and ask her if she thinks my girlfriend will like it. Grimacing, the girl clamps her hanger onto the rack, yells for her mom to leave, and they exit the store just like that.
